Bonfire

Another day of “not a hell of a lot happened” but it’s high time for an update.

I saw “Bend it Like Beckham” last night. Fizzy, Pessi and I went for Mexican food in The Mission, then saw the film. We loved it! Afterwards, I called our friend Annie. She was “A” back when I was all about the code names. She is half of the team that runs mixermixer.com, which was hosting a bonfire. She said the bonfire was raging, so we headed out to the beach.

The bonfire was pretty live. A guy they call Smurf was there, Annie and her boyfriend Kavin (the other half of mixermixer) were, too. A bunch of others were. This one kind of creepy guy was hitting on various girls, without success. He finally seemed to have found an interested female, so Fizzy and Pessi insisted that I go cockblock the poor bloke. I didn’t really say or do too much, but the girl tried to give me her phone number. I hope I didn’t make Fizzy jealous!! Hey, she sent me… I actually felt bad afterwards– the poor guy only wanted to meet a girl, and here is selfish me with a Fizzy of my very own going over and chasing him away.

We ate at Orphan Andy’s, a yummy lil’ 24-Hour joint in The Castro, and a good time was had by all.

For journal entries I suppose I’m spot on, but by and large I think my blogs suck. I am not coming back until I have something more interesting to say.
